Trey Ivey Joins Legacy Five

Trey Ivey has been hired as Tim Partons replacement on the piano bench; and he will start with them officially on Febuary 28th. Though he will be joining them on February12th to just ride with them and probably get their music down before he is thrown right into things. He also will be moving from his home in Cleavland Georgia to Nashville so he can be closer to where L5 is based. One interesting fact from this hiring is the fact that Trey used to play for the Lefevre Quartet, which is the group Gus Gaches (tenor for L5) sang for at the same time Trey played for them. Trey most recently played for the Old Paths Quartet.

Trey had this say about joining L5.

I am so thankful that God allows me to do what I love to do. I am very excited about joining Legacy Five and look forward to seeing what the future holds. It is a real honor to follow in the footsteps of two of my heroes, Roger and Tim.

Trey  is a great Piano player, and should be a great asset to L5; I like that two of his heroes are Roger and Tim those are some good heroes to have.  I am looking forward to seeing him play for them.
