Gold City Hires Brent Mitchell As Their New Tenor

Gold City has hired Brent Mitchell (formerly of Mercy’s Mark & N’Harmony) as their new tenor vocalist; I have to say that while I believe this a good move. Brent is similar in sound to Josh (with a little less power)… I am looking forward to attending a Gold City Concert with Brent as their ten0r. They should be releasing their new upcoming mainline album with Brent on tenor, I hope they get that out as soon as possible. Here is the link to the official press release.

Here is a video of Brent singing with a scrap iron quartet; it shows his range and power quite well.

He also has a softer side to his voice; that is evident on this video of him singing with N’Harmony.

I think this could work out quite well for Gold City, they just need some stability…

A nice voice. A little like Wes Hampton, except squeakier it sounds like… I think things work better for him in the lower register.

I did not know that song, “He Loves Me” before—really beautiful!
