Jonathan Price Hired as The New Tenor For The Dove Brothers

The Dove Brothers have hired Jonathan Price as their new tenor following the departure of Jerry Martin; The Dove Brothers announced last week that Jerry would be leaving the group after eight years as their tenor singer. As for Price he is without a doubt a solid tenor; but he is quite a departure from Jerry Martin or John Rulapaugh… Maybe the Dove Brothers are going to start changing their sound again;since Price is a Garry Sheppard type tenor(IMO) they could be going for the vintage quartet sound once again. I have to say that I am intrigued, and I am looking forward to hearing Jonathan sing with the Doves. Here is the official press release

Not a good choice for their style, I love to hear tenor singers…not this one. Too harsh for my ears.

I agree. Price could use some work on higher end tones, too much nasal.
