Harold Reed Leaves The Kingsmen; Joins The Lefevre Quartet
In a somewhat surprising move announced today by the Kingsmen and The Lefevre Quartet, Kingsmen Tenor has decided to leave the Kingsmen and join the Lefevre Quartet. This is the second departure by a Kingsmen group member in the last two weeks (the first being Bryan Hutson who joined Soul’d Out Quartet). I like thisĀ for the Lefevre Quartet, as Harold gives them an experienced tenor singer who has been around the genre for quite a while, it also changes the dynamics of their sound in some ways with Harold. As for the Kingsmen I will be curious to see where they go from here, I personally wasn’t the biggest fan of what Harold brought to the Kingsmen even though I really enjoyed his Florida Boys tenure. I will be praying that the Kingsmen find the right fit at the all so important Tenor position.
