I loved Libbi Stuffle’s acceptance speech–what a classy lady.
I was so impressed with Little Jan’s acceptance speech and her humility.
Some one that gets constant nominations but never seems to get the deserved recognition is Ricky Atkinson. He has written some of the most beautiful, soul stirring songs that I have ever heard. He has had some of them make it to the #1 spot as well as numerous Top 10’s.
“This Valley IS For Me”, “Resting Place”, “Jesus Can”, “Have Not Forgotten”, just to name a select few. I know his group Ricky Atkinson & Compassion won Trio of the Year in 2005, but he has been nominated songwriter of the year what 12 – 13 years in a row?..!
I will be glad to see him receive some awards, but I know his greatest award will be his reward! RAC Fan
